Game Releases Scheduled for 2021

If you’re interested in which games will be hitting our Nintendo Switches, PCs, Playstations, and XBoxes, you’ve come to the right place. This is what we have to look forward to as soon as we ring out the dark year of 2020 and welcome in the new!

Little Nightmares II

Little Nightmares II is being developed by Tarsier Studios for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Bandai Namco is the publisher and the release date is February 11 2021.

In this suspense-adventure game, you’ll be playing Mono, a boy trapped in a world that’s distorted by a humming transmission from a distant tower. Six, a girl in a yellow raincoat, guides you to discover what dark secrets this signal tower holds and hopefully save her from a dreadful fate. The journey is dangerous due to the pair facing threats from the awful residents of this besieged world.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake

Coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is being developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai. It will be available from January 21, 2021, and asks players to save their kingdoms from the clutches of the treacherous Vizier.

A full-scale remake of the classic action-adventure tale debuts new enemy character models. This is above and beyond fresh cinematic sequences, enhanced sounds and voices, parkour animations, and a blistering soundtrack.

You will be able to use your dagger to accelerate, freeze, reverse, and slow time while you’re tasked with solving puzzles on your journey. Ubisoft promises totally modernised controls, saying that these, along with camera and combat options, have been completely rebuilt and updated for today’s modern player. You’ll be able to choose between original and modernised mapping and can utterly immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Ancient Persia thanks to hyper-realistic graphics.

Stronghold: Warlords

Firefly Studios is developing Stronghold: Warlords for PC players and will be publishing this strategy-based masterpiece on January 26 2021.

You’ll be besieging great kahns, imperial warlords, and shōgun in the next real time strategy release in the Castle Sim series by Firefly Studios. The First Stronghold to remake East Asia’s castle economies, Warlord has you taking command of the Japanese caste clansmen, Mongol hordes, and royal warriors as you beleaguer fortresses and citadels. Lay waste to historical rulers with new siege weapons fuelled by gunpowder, classic units, and a brand-new way to play.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood

Cyanide Studios is behind the upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood game for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s set to be published by Nacon on the 4th of February next year.

The game is based on the tabletop role-playing game by White Wolf Publishing called Werewolf: The Apocalypse, which is, in turn, part of the larger World of Darkness Series. The tale follows an eco-terrorist werewolf called Cahal who’s been banished from his tribe. He’s fighting the Pentex Corporation and the decimation its pollution is causing.
